My name is Rob. I’m a technology enthusiast, writer and occasional programmer. I live in the beautiful state of Oregon in the USA.
In my past life, I was a technology executive for 22 years at Microsoft. I spent most of my career working on developer tools (Visual Basic, Visual Studio) and Windows graphics. I retired a few years ago to get out of the rat race and pursue other passions.
I’ve always enjoyed helping people make the most out of technology. For me, helping people use the technology and tools they have makes the technology seem more alive and real.
Over the years I’ve helped friends and family members with their tech issues and questions. Several of them have suggested that I put together a newsletter to share tips and tricks and help people get the most out of their technology. This is my attempt to do just that.
