It’s that time of year when Apple releases new devices and software updates. You’ve probably seen this mentioned in the news quite a bit over the past couple of weeks. Now that the dust has settled (a little), I thought I’d give a quick overview of what’s new and help to answer that all-Important question: should you get a new device.
New iPads Announced
Apple announced two new iPad models today: an updated iPad Mini and a brand new iPad Air. The new iPads fit nicely into Apple’s lineup which now has models across a wide range of prices, sizes, and capabilities. Here is a quick look.
Time To Leave Windows 7
Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. This means that after that date they will no longer issue security and feature updates nor will they provide support. While it may seem that there is plenty of time to worry about this, if you’re using a PC that is running Windows 7, doing some planning and preparation now will help make the transition smoother.
