We all have become familiar with using a search engine, such as Google, to find things on the internet. Our devices have a similar feature that makes it very easy to find things both on our devices and online. It’s surprisingly powerful and useful.
I’ve written previously about how using strong, unique passwords and also ensuring that your devices are always up-to-date are important ways to stay secure online. In this article, I’m going to cover how to ensure that you are the only one that can sign in to your account. It’s called two-factor authentication, which is quite a mouthful, but is simple to set up, simple to use, and is a big improvement over just using a password.
I do a lot of reading on my iPad and iPhone. Often, when reading a news article, book, or web page, there is something I see that I want more information about. I might want to see the definition of a word, or get more details about a phrase. If you find yourself in the same situation, there is a very easy way to look up definitions and get more information when using your iPhone and iPad.
